We offer senior, independent advice to businesses and their stakeholders in arranging and managing their debt facilities and relationships with banks.
Argyll Debt Advisory is led by Alistair Lee, an experienced banker with a deep understanding of the Retail and Consumer Sectors. We have advised many clients over ten years, raising facilities in excess of £1 billion.
Our approach:
we start by getting to understand your business in depth, and reviewing your current facilities alongside the forecasting models you run and sensitising them;
we will then act as a sounding board with you advising upon the most appropriate funding structures for the medium term ensuring the flexibility to support your future business requirements;
because of our experience as bankers and our extensive contacts we can tell you what will work and with which lender(s);
once we have agreed the preferred structure(s), we can then market test them to ensure that the agreed audience of lenders have the appetite to assist; and
we will then move into the full project management of getting the relevant lenders’ approvals and assisting you through to completion of the new arrangements.
Renewing banking facilities:
benchmarking your current facilities for terms and pricing;
identifying potential funding partners and solutions;
negotiating sustainable, flexible and competitive terms;
agreeing and (re) setting covenants as appropriate; and
helping in negotiations when covenants are breached.
Raising new debt finance:
we have undertaken debt raising across a range of options including:
working capital support;
acquisition and leveraged finance;
funding for growth;
capex investment; and
asset based approaches.
we have key contacts with a wide network of UK funders to executive levels.
