Long Term Non-Exec Support

We work with founders and owners of businesses looking for long term advice linked to increasing shareholder value over time.

This advice typically covers strategy, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet structure, corporate governance, building an executive team, board structuring and developing and monitoring an appropriate set of KPI’s and board reporting documents.

Often these businesses are valuable but do not have all the facets needed to make them “investable” or saleable. The professionalisation work to make businesses investable can take two years or longer. We are happy to engage with your business for these time horizons or even longer.

We typically work with the board and management team in a non-executive capacity, sometimes but not always joining the board as a director.

Assignments typically start with an initial review with suggested actions and then move to a regular board participation through monthly board meetings and ad-hoc support and advice to shareholders and executives.

In these projects we are able to share the experience and lessons learnt over 25 years of advising a range of consumer and other businesses.
